La Plataforma por el Estudio Epidemiologico in a meeting held in Gibraltar yesterday evening urges La Comision Mixta to honour its pledge made publicly some time back to co-fund an international, independent cross border epidemiological study.

Given that La Junta cannot carry out health studies in Gibraltar which La Plataforma considers should be carried out alongside those undertaken in the Bay – and that the recent statements made by Junta scientists lack the standards urged by experts like Professor Benach and recommendations made by el CSIC – La Plataforma urges La Comision Mixta to embark on the commissioning of the necessary studies without further delay.
