The Environmental Safety Group is presently involved in a series of meetings with the newly appointed Minister for the Environment, Mr. Ernest Britto.

The agenda includes the core issues of the group reiterated in the publication of its green “wish list” at the last general election. The ESG is highlighting areas which continue to cause concern to the group and can report that to date the meetings have proven useful and cordial.

Given that responsibility for our environment lies with every sector of the community including citizens, business and government –, the group confirms it will continue to publicly campaign and lobby as necessary to bring about positive results for our environment.
